Even Money (All In Duet #1) by Alessandra Torre

Thank you to the author for providing me with a free copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.

Synopsis (from Goodreads):

Sometimes it only takes a minute. A connection of eyes across a room, a quickened heartbeat, and everything changes.

I was a cocktail waitress with a fondness for partying and meaningless sex.

He owned half of Vegas, with the reputation to match.

I should have turned away. Instead, I stepped closer.

Then, the lies started.

Rumors spread.

Stalking commenced.

And someone died.

None of it stopped me from falling in love.

WHAT JUST HAPPENED?! Seriously, that was like being on a kickass roller coaster, only to have the operator hit the pause button just as you crest the peak of the biggest drop on the whole ride. And as someone who LOVES a good cliffhanger, I will gladly tell you that Torre has delivered!

Even Money is an absolute TREAT! Fierce, confident, intelligent female protagonist, delicious alpha male, Las Vegas, scandal, power, money, sex, and murder. This is exactly the kind of book I want to escape into on my summer vacation. The only downfall: it was so addicting I finished it in just a few sittings. But there was no way to drag it out! As soon as I’d sit down with it, I’d become completely immersed in Bell and Dario’s story, and the crazy world of Vegas money, and I couldn’t stop turning the pages.

Final verdict: add it to your summer TBR and carve out some time in your schedule ASAP.

***Even Money is the first book in the All In duet. The second book, Double Down, releases on June 18, 2018.
